Jack Scott, BS

Jack Scott is President of First Pacific Corporation [FPC] headquartered in Salem, Oregon. FPC provides computer and software support, including accounts receivable and general business management, to dental offices in 22 states. Mr. Scott graduated from Oregon State University on an athletic scholarship and was a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity. He has served on several boards of directors including Salem Hospital, Western Security Bank, Salem Parks and Recreation, and Key Title Company. He has been involved in several civic groups, Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club and YMCA. When his wife Pam was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, Jack became involved in trying to find answers to this enigmatic syndrome. In 1993, he founded the National Fibromyalgia Research Association [NFRA]. A nonprofit organization, NFRA has expended more than $1,150,000 toward FMS scientific research, patient and healthcare education, and general public awareness. One hundred percent of funds donated to NFRA go directly to achieving these objectives with no deductions for administrative expenses. NFRA has been a major advocate impacting the National Institutes of Health for research funding and stimulating interest in the scientific community. NFRA was a major sponsor of MYOPAIN '95 in San Antonio, Texas, and was represented at MYOPAIN '98 in Silvi Marina, Italy and MYOPAIN '01 in Portland, OR, USA
